Tail-Gator Fest

Hanson Memorial High School’s 4th Annual Tail-Gator Fest featuring the Battle of the Paddles was held Saturday along the bayou side on Teche Drive in Franklin. The event featured a gumbo and jambalaya cooking contest, carnival games, arts and crafts, a silent auction, a 1-mile fun run, a horseshoe tournament and music. The mission of the event is to share southern hospitality and Louisiana fare while raising money for HMS academics.
