Police Reports 2-13-15
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
A juvenile male, 16, of Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 8:21 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace and being an ungovernable juvenile. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
James Blevins, 43, of 10671 La. 182, Lot 20, Amelia, was arrested Thursday at 4:50 p.m. on charges of illegal possession of burglar tools and three counts of attempted burglary. No bond was set.
A juvenile male, 15, of Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 4:43 p.m. on a charge of being ungovernable. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Edward Francois, 32, of 919½ Railroad Ave., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 6:14 p.m. on warrants charging him with probation due to charges of possession of marijuana. He was released on $20,000 bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Sheniquia Jones, 32, of O’Neal Chube Street, Franklin, Thursday at 3:47 p.m. on a warrant charging her with simple assault. She was released on $250 bond.
Terrance Sereal, 26, of Guillotte Street, Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 11:32 p.m. on a charge of simple battery and held on $500 bond.
Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of James Bellard, 26, of New Iberia, Wednesday at 1:38 a.m. on sheriff’s failure to appear warrants on a charge of disturbing the peace. He was released to the sheriff’s office.
Shane Laquette, 45, of Abbeville, was arrested Thursday at 8 a.m. on a charge of theft and released on a summons.
Dawn Bernard Meche, 49, of Charenton, was arrested Thursday at 8:30 a.m. on a charge of criminal contempt. No bond was set.
