Patterson woman jailed on meth lab charges

A 26-year-old Patterson woman was booked into the Franklin jail Wednesday on warrants that include operation of a meth lab, Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire said in a news release.
—Destiny Dinger, 26, of Tiffany Street in Patterson, was arrested at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday, by the Morgan City Police Department on warrants for that department dated Oct. 24, charging her with possession of drug paraphernalia second offense, possession of Schedule II narcotics (methamphetamine), violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zones), and creation/operation of a clandestine lab.
The arrest stems from officers responding to a call of a possible clandestine laboratory in the 200 block of Cypress Street on Oct. 24, 2014, McGuire said. Dinger was jailed on $25,000 bail.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 49 complaints in the parish and reported the following arrest in east St. Mary Parish:
—Jermiah Luke, 35, of the 100 block of Jordin Lane in Bayou Vista, at 10:57 p.m. Wednesday for disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy responding to a complaint of a suspicious person on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista located Luke and observed the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on him, Hebert said.
The deputyremoved Luke from the area on a summons to appear in court June 17.
Morgan City Assistant Police Chief Mark Griffin Jr. reported no arrests.
