Berwick/Bayou Vista baseball registration
St. Mary Central Dixie Youth Baseball and T-Ball registration in Berwick and Bayou Vista concludes today.
Participants can sign up at www.smcbaseball.org.
Also, registration is being accepted at the Berwick Town Hall and the Bayou Vista Community Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Students, ages 5-12 as of May 1, are eligible to participate.
A coaches meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Berwick Civic Complex.
Amelia baseball/Tball registration
Baseball and T-ball registration is being held in Amelia through Friday.
Participates can sign up at the Amelia Recreation Center.
The different leagues are:
-Boys' and girls' T-Ball (ages 4-6).
-Boys' Pitching Machine (ages 7-8).
-Boys' baseball (9-10).
-Boys' baseball (11-12).
-Boys' baseball (13-15).
Assistants and volunteers are needed, too.
Also, a free coaching clinic will be held Friday and Saturday. It is open to those ages 7-15.
Among the items that will be covered are pitching, fielding and game rules.
Softball league registration set
Berwick/Bayou Vista Softball League registration will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the
Berwick Civic Complex.
The last day to register will be March 19.
MCRD holding spring sports registrations
The Morgan City Recreation Department is taking applications for its 2015 season for Tball, baseball and softball.
To participate in the appropriate leagues, participants must be ages 5-12 on or before May 1 of the current year.
To register, provide a copy of the child's birth certificate and player registration fee of $40.
Applications will be accepted at the recreation department Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office will be closed
daily from 12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m.
The recreation office is located at 915 Everett St.
