SHIRLEY LAMAIRE BEADLE

August 19, 1938 — March 11, 2015
Shirley Lamaire Beadle, 76, a native of Kaplan and resident of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Abbeville General Hospital.
Shirley was a devout Catholic and attended church on a regular basis until her illness prevented her from going. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
Shirley was known for her kind heart and caring nature; she volunteered her services to the elderly and would deliver for Meals on Wheels. She also was a diehard Saints fan — win or lose. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Jim Beadle Sr. of Lafayette; two sons, Jim Beadle Jr. and wife, Jeanne, of Carencro and Wade Beadle of Louisburg, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Brandi Viator, Sam J. Beadle and Megan Beadle; two great-granddaughters, Lilah and Aaliyha; two brothers, Steve Touchet and Gilbert Touchet; and two sisters, Dolores Theriot and Velma Prejean; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Lucille Touchet; and one brother, Jerry Touchet.
Visitation was today, Friday, March 13, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. She was laid to rest following the service in the Morgan City Cemetery.
