Work was going on Monday to build three more cabins at Lake End Parkway in Morgan City. Work began on those cabins in December 2014, Morgan City Recreation and Culture Director Dwayne Barbier said. The original three cabins built at the parkway opened in 2013. Two docks are also being built, one for the first three cabins and one for the three cabins under construction, Barbier said. The three new cabins and two docks are being funded by $1.2 million in state capital outlay money, Barbier said.
