School board meets Thurs. in Centerville

Members of the St. Mary Parish School Board will meet in regular monthly session Thursday.
Items on the agenda include a list of personnel matters dealing with new hires, resignations, retirements, transfers and promotions. There’s also appointments and advertisement for anticipated vacant positions and summer school staff, and administrative positions for the 2015-2016 school year on the agenda.
The board also will consider revising policy on the formula used to determine the eligibility of an assistant principal at an elementary school from 401 to 375 students.
The meeting that is open to the public begins at 5 p.m. at the Central Office Complex on La. 317 in Centerville.
