OFFICER JUANDRE GILLIAM SR.

Officer Juandre Devon Gilliam Sr., age 22, a native of Franklin and a resident of Jeanerette, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 1:20 a.m., at the Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia.
Visitation will be observed Saturday April 11, 2015 at the Patterson Civic Center from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. Officer Gilliam will be laid to rest in the Sorrel Community Cemetery with full Police Officer Honors. Bishop Alvin Davis will officiate the services.
Cherished and divine memories will forever be remembered by his loving wife, Latoya P. Gilliam; two sons, Juandre D. Gilliam Jr. and Dontarius Joseph all of Jeanerette; his mother, Lawanda Gabriel-Williams (Pastor Edward) of Houston, TX; two brothers, Denzel Gilliam and Zachary Tillman, both of Jeanerette; two sisters, Raquana Gilliam of Jeanerette and Laquandria Gilliam of Houston, TX; his maternal and paternal grandparents, Emma Washington (Joseph) and Beulah Gilliam, all of Jeanerette; his mother-in-law, Samantha Poole of Morgan City; his father-in-law, Leroy Alexander of Jeanerette; as well as several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Juandre was preceded in death by his father, Redford Gilliam and his grandfather, Ollie Gilliam.
