CALVIN LYNN BANKS

Calvin Lynn Banks, 58, a resident of Newark, New Jersey, and native of Franklin, Louisiana, died Aug. 5, 2015, at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Visitation will be Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, 1101 Main Street, in Franklin, from 1 p.m. until funeral services at 3 p.m. Burial with military honors will follow funeral services in the Franklin Cemetery on Main Street.
He was a United States Army veteran.
He is survived by three brothers, Damond Banks Jr., Micheal Bowles and Darrell Juan Washington Sr., all of Houston; four sisters, Patricia Weber of Franklin, and Gloria Stevens, Debra Jackson and Carliss Guy-Landry, all of New Iberia; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
