Chamber event to kick off Bear Fest

A Business After Hours party to kick off the Black Bear Festival is set for tonight.
The St. Mary Chamber of Commerce event will be held at the Teche Theatre for the Performing arts, 501 Main St., in Franklin.
It begins at 6 p.m. and musical entertainment will be provided by Rick Lorenzo. Sponsors are Teche Action Board Inc., Dugas Oil, Cabot Corporation, Franklin Foundation Hospital, Iberiabank and the Port of West St. Mary.
