Junior golf tourney seeks participants

Tri-City area junior golfers ages 11-18 are invited to compete in the Oak Harbor Junior Classic at Oak Harbor Golf Club in Slidell Aug. 22-23. The two-day, 36-hole tournament is ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard and hosted by the Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour.
The tournament entry fee is $185 and includes two days of green fees, tee gifts and trophies in four age divisions. Recommended accommodations are available at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Slidell. Reservation information is available by calling 985-639-0890.
The tournament extended registration deadline is noon Aug. 20.
