BILLY BLACKBURN

Billy Blackburn, 59, a native and resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at his residence.
Burial rites will be read at Nazarene Baptist Church, 7416 La. 182 W. in Franklin, Wednesday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Henry Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Blackburn of Verdunville; one son, Bobby Ray Blackburn of New Iberia; one daughter, Beverly Ann Blackburn Brown of Fort Leonardwood, Missouri; three brothers, Leonard Watts, Fred “Anthony” Watts and Reginald Watts, all of Houston; two sisters, Christine Blackburn and Ruby Blackburn, both of Baton Rouge; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
