Local Keep Louisiana Beautiful honors

Dr. Alice Pecoraro, above, received the Keep Louisiana Beautiful Alice Foster Award and Franklin Foundation Hospital was the recipient of the Corporate Leadership Award, accepted by Elmo Vinas, Human Resource Director, below. The award was named after Louisiana’s former first Lady, Alice Foster, who played a crucial role in beautification and preservation efforts across the state and helped launch Keep Louisiana Beautiful. The Alice Foster Award recognizes an individual volunteer for their exceptional leadership on litter prevention, waste reduction, recycling and beautification. Corporate Leadership Award recognizes a business that demonstrates a consistent dedication to KLB’s mission, environmental stewardship and community enrichment.
