Holiday closings listed

St. Mary Parish and area municipal offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Normal office hours are expected to resume Monday.
—Harold J. Babe Landry Landfill located in Berwick will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. It will resume regular operating hours Friday.
—Pelican Waste & Debris will continue its regular trash pick-up routes on Thursday and Friday in Berwick, Patterson, and unincorporated areas of St. Mary Parish. Thursday’s trash pick-up will begin early Thanksgiving morning.
—Progressive Waste Solutions will not pick up trash for Thursday routes in Morgan City and the city of Franklin. Thursday’s trash will be picked up Friday.
Progressive requests that customers with trash pick-up days regularly scheduled for Friday and Saturday continue with their normal schedule. Extra trucks will be dispatched to assist with trash pick-up.
—The Daily Review closes early Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Due to the abbreviated schedule, news and advertising deadlines will be earlier than usual.
