DONALD JAMES BERNUCHO

March 24, 1949-November 27, 2015
Donald James Bernucho, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at his residence. He was 66 years old, and was a very loving and giving person who will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Donald leaves to cherish his memory his three children, Chantel Bernucho Escort and her husband, Donald Ugas and his wife, Melissa, and Dawn Ugas Knowles and her spouse, Mary; his twin brother, Ronald Bernucho and his wife, Suzan; his sister, Trudy Bernucho Case and her husband, Jerry “Mike;” his brother, Mark Bernucho and his wife, Brenda; and his sister, Robin Bernucho Beadle and her husband, Blane “Bud;” seven grandchildren, Lauren Mooney, Will Garrett, Da’Kya Garrett, Audrey Ugas, Sophia Ugas, Isaiah Knowles and Payton Knowles; a host of nieces and nephews; and his loving friends, Kristy and Phil Theriot.
He joins in heaven his parents, Leicester “Lee” and Beverly Bonner Bernucho; and his brother, Rodney Bernucho.
The family requests that a time of visitation be observed Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, from 10 a.m. until time of rosary at 1 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Graveside services will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
