Young Memorial’s WorkReady U Program offers adult education classes for a High School Equivalency Diploma in Franklin and Morgan City. Registration: Morgan City campus, 900 Youngs Road, 8-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. Dec. 3 and Franklin campus, 1013 Perret St., 8-10 a.m. Dec. 14. MC HOUSING
Morgan City Housing Authority, 336 Wren St., accepting public housing applications for all unit sizes 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Dec. 15-16. Must have: Current proof of all income; photo ID for all applicants 18 or older; certified birth certificates and Social Security cards for all household members. Everyone age 18 and older in household must be present in order to apply.
