Lights will shine on Saturday

This year’s Lamplighter will be revealed Saturday, after the Christmas parade at the Lamp-lighting Ceremony, which immediately follows the parade at the courthouse square.
Here are the last two hints about this year’s Lamplighter:
The Lamplighter works tirelessly in St. Mary Parish
The Lamplighter can trace its roots to a missionary.
The Five O’clock Shadows will perform from 4-5:45 p.m. at the Hanagriffs’ lot to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
Participants will line up for the parade on Jackson Street, beginning at 5 p.m. The Christmas parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Main Street, and the Lamp-lighting Ceremony will begin at the Courthouse immediately following the parade.
