School board will meet Thursday

The St. Mary Parish School Board will hold its last regular meeting of the year at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Central Office Complex.
Introductions of December students and employees of the month are on the meeting agenda.
Students being recognized are Tamia Singleton, a fifth grader at J.S. Aucoin Elementary School; Daviana Vazquez-Piazza, fifth grader at LaGrange Elementary School; and Mary McClean, 12th grader at Franklin High School.
Featured employees of the month are Diana McAllister, secretary at J.S. Aucoin Elementary School; Joe Shields, part-time custodian at LaGrange Elementary School; and Cora Henry, secretary at Franklin High School.
Berwick High School student Whitney Patterson will be acknowledged for the selection of his drawing used on St. Mary Parish School Board Christmas Card.
Darnell, Sikes, Gardes & Frederick is scheduled to present the audit report for the year that ended June 30.
