JOYCE MARIE ARMOND

Joyce Marie Armond, 60, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Word of Life Church in Patterson, Louisiana, with services to begin at 1 p.m.
Joyce was a strong, humbled, family-oriented woman. She had a passion and love for her family, friends, church and animals. She had a big heart and was always willing and ready to help others. She was a hard worker who dedicated most of her life to working in the restaurant business as a server.
She is survived by her husband, Terry L. Armond; two daughters, Tara and husband, Tony Crouch, and Tracy and husband, Gary Angeron II; a son, Terry P. Armond and wife, Maureen; seven grandchildren, Kade, Gary, Bradley, Ocean, Galen, Cianna and Gevin, all of Morgan City; four step grandchildren, Michael, Nick, Sarah and Christin; two step great-grandchildren, Bentley and Bryce; two brothers, Billy Giroir and Edward Giroir Jr.; and two sisters, Betty Heise and Katie Harrington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Giroir and Anita Giroir Lock; in-laws, Paul and Helen Armond and Shirley Brinson; a great-granddaughter, Angel Angeron; and a sister, Peggy Giroir.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma LLC is in charge of arrangements.
