LARRY LINTON SR.

The Life of Larry Linton Sr. will be celebrated on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at 11 a.m., at MK DIXON Funeral Home, 211 Main Street in Baldwin. He will be interred in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette. The Rev. Samuel Wise will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at MK DIXON Funeral Home.
Born on April 8, 1953, to the late Ralph and Rita Joe Linton, Larry transitioned to be with the Lord on Monday, December 21, 2015, at 11:01 a.m. at New Iberia Manor North. He was 62.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Yolanda Linton; seven children, Larry Linton Jr. of Jeanerette; April (Ennis) Donald of Broussard; Burachel (Bobby) Lewis of San Antonio, TX; Elvis (Shanda) Paul Jr. of Abbeville; Laury Linton of Monroe; Latoya Linton (Thaddeus) Reed of Abbeville; Kevin Linton of Abbeville; Dorian Wesley of Franklin; three sisters, Rev. Dr. Lillie Mae (Louis) Lockett of Jeanerette, Judy (Julius) Polk of New Iberia, and Rita (Spencer) Rollins of Jeanerette; six brothers, Ralph Linton Jr. of California, Percy (Annie Mae) Arthur of Jeanerette, Floyd Linton of Oklahoma, Lloyd Joe Linton of Lafayette, Douglas Linton of Jeanerette, and Claude (Paula) Linton of New Iberia; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Lindon Sr. and Rita Joe Linton.
