Krewe of Nike royalty

Patrick Carmichael and Grace Granger were presented as King and Queen Nike XLV during the Krewe of Nike’s court held Saturday at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. In keeping with the theme, “Cruise the U.S.S. Nike,” Carmichael represented “The U.S.S. Nike” and Granger was “The Majestic Ocean.” The king is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Carmichael of Morgan City. The queen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Granger of Morgan City. The children’s krewe will parade behind the Krewe of Galatea parade at 2 p.m. Feb. 7 in Morgan City.
