Richard Paul Legano

Richard Paul Legano, 64, a native of Brooklyn, New York, and a longtime resident of Houma, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, after a lengthy battle with “PSP” Parkinson. Rick, known as Rickster, was employed for 24 years by and retired from TGMC Rehab Department.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Christ Church Baptist, 1700 East Tunnel Boulevard in Houma.
Rick is survived by JoAnn Michel Legano, his loving and devoted wife of 32 years; sons, Shane Christopher Legano and wife, Emily, and Stephen Legano and wife, Gretchen; one daughter, Macy Legano Cheramie and husband, Jace; four grandchildren; two brothers, John and Debbe Legano of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Thomas and Renae Legano of Pelzer, South Carolina; and a sister, Arleen and Randall Thomason of Greer, South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin John Legano and Florence Legano Allen.
