(Updated) Police: Missing Franklin teen located

The 17-year-old Franklin girl who went missing early Sunday morning has been located, according to a state police news release.
Louisiana State Police have cancelled the Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media Advisory for Vernija Loston, 17, of Franklin. Loston has been located. The investigation is ongoing and further inquiries should be directed to the Franklin Police Department.
On Sunday night,Louisiana State Police issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media Advisory on behalf of the Franklin Police Department in St. Mary Parish for Loston, who was reported missing on Sunday. She was last seen on Main Street in Franklin in the early Sunday morning, the release said.
Loston was the victim of an assault and was believed to be in imminent danger, police said.
