Police Reports 3-9-16
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Marquis J. Brown, 23, of Jeanerette, was arrested Tuesday at 10:23 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, speeding and failure to honor written promise to appear. He was released after posting $865 bond.
Thomas Cook, 32, of 5600 Cargill Road, Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 12:56 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace (intoxicated). He was released on a summons to appear in court.
Kandace Francis, 24, of 328 Cardinal St., Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 1:50 p.m. and charged with remaining where forbidden. She was released on a summons to appear in court.
Herbert Smith, 29, of 501 Labau St., Lot #1, Baldwin, was arrested Tuesday at 2:02 p.m. and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and careless operation. No bail was set.
Corey Clavelle, 30, of Jeanerette, was arrested Tuesday at 11:56 p.m. and charged with violation of protective orders. No bail was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrest:
Sharla Daniels, 47, of Antigo Alley, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 6:10 p.m. and charged on a warrant charging her with monetary instrument abuse. Daniels was processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
