Gilbert Marmolejo

Gilbert Marmolejo, 96, a native and resident of York-town, Texas, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, Texas.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio.
The World War II veteran will have a private interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
He is survived by two sons, Gilbert Marmolejo and John Marmolejo, both of San Antonio; a daughter, Debby J. Ghirardi of Morgan City; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Brig Marmolejo; and a sister, Irma Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
