ALBERTA S. GIBSON

Alberta S. Gibson, 88, a native and resident of Franklin, Louisiana, passed away at 7:35 a.m. Thursday April 14, 2016, at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Thursday at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Barrow St. in Franklin from 10 a.m. until funeral services at noon. The Rev. Allen Randle will officiate the services. Burial will follow at the St. John Cemetery on Pecot Street in Franklin,
Survivors include her two sons, Rogers T. (Juanita) Gibson of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Gregory M. (Suella) Gibson of Franklin; one brother, Clemet Williams of St. Joseph; and eight grandchildren, including Asha and Ashton Gibson of Morgan City, and four great-grandchildren.
Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
