Westgate earns 2016 Foster/Perry Championships

Westgate girls and boys swept the Foster/Perry Relay title which was held Friday at the Albert Perry Track at Franklin Senior High School.
In the girls rankings, Westgate High School finished first with a total of 126 points. Hanson Memorial was second with 76 points while Franklin High School was third with 65 points and Morgan City was fourth with 36 points.
Westgate High School edged out Franklin High School by five points at 147-142 for the boys title with the Hanson Memorial Tigers finishing in third place with 41 points.
