BRAYLEN RAYSHUN FOULCARD
Braylen Brayshun Foulcard, 16, a resident and native of Franklin, LA passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 4:45 p.m. in Franklin, LA.
Visitation will be observed on Monday, Oct. 31 at the West St. Mary Civic Center 1472 Highway 318, Jeanerette from 1 p.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m. Pastor Samuel Wise will officiate the services. Braylen will be laid to rest in the Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrel, LA, with his grandfather Lawrence Bowie.
Braylen was a Junior at the West St. Mary High School and loved sports, cars, and horses.
Memories of “Bray”, as he was known to many, will forever will remain in the hearts of his father, Artey D. Foulcard of Franklin; his mother, Nekesia J. Bowie of Franklin; one sister, Lola Foulcard of Donaldsonville; maternal grandmother, Gwendolyn Bowie of Franklin; paternal grandparents; Rebecca Johnson and her husband Robert Johnson Sr. of Patterson; Carl Foulcard Jr. and his wife, Sandra; one great-grandmother, Lydia Foulcard all of Franklin; two aunts, Latoyia Dowell and Courtnee Brown; one uncle, Robert Johnson Jr. and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, classmates, other relatives and friends.
Braylen was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lawrence Bowie; great grandparents, Carl Foulcard Sr.; Isabella and Eugene Johnson; Robert and Celestine Guy Sr.; a great uncle, Robert Guy Jr.; great great grandparents, Eugene and Ana Johnson Delasbour and Joseph and Louise Porter Foulcard and Isaac and Lessie Fentis-Bowie Sr.; great-great uncle, Lloyd Booker Sr.
