Melvin Guidroz Jr., 51, a native and resident of Raceland, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 10 a.m. Saturday at New St. Matthews Baptist Church, 4839 La. 308, Raceland. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his companion; his mother, Pauline T. Guidroz of Raceland; a son, Denzel Folse; three daughters, Ashley Lawson, Quiana Folse and Jasmine Folse, all of Raceland; four grandchildren; a brother, Leross Triplett of Raceland; and four sisters, Nellie Guidroz of Lockport, Stephanie Guidroz and Darlene Jackson, both of Raceland, and Kimberly Madise of Morgan City.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
