ABRAM MARSHALL GRAY III

March 19, 1941 - August 12, 2016
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, during a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista for Mr. Abram Marshall Gray III. Father Angelo Cremaldi will be the Celebrant for the Mass with Father William Rogalla concelebrating. He will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Marksville, Louisiana.
A gathering of family and friends will be held today, Monday, Aug. 15, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m., led by Father Angelo Cremaldi.
Marshall is survived by his wife of 54 years, Charlotte Edwards Gray; their four children, Leslie Smith, Abram “Marty” Marshall Gray IV and his wife Michelle, Ann Blanchard and her husband Mark, and Julie Standing and her husband Robert; and 10 grandchildren, Marcus Smith and his wife Laura, Holly Smith, Leigh Ann Smith, Abram Marshall Gray V, Mary Gray, Meghan Gray, Eli Blanchard, Max Blanchard, Gray Standing, and Genesis Standing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abram Marshall Gray Jr. and Cecile Roy Gray; and one brother, Blakewood Morrow Gray.
