ANNA WHITE

A Celebration of Life Service for Anna White will be held on Saturday, March 12, at 11 a.m., at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Charenton. She will be interred in St. John Cemetery in Charenton. Bishop Perry will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 12, at 9 a.m. until the time of service at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Missionary Anna Louise White was born in Franklin on May 1, 1960 to the late James E. White Sr. and Alma Nelson White. She departed this life at the age of 55 on March 3, 2016 at Lafayette Heart Hospital, at 1 a.m.
Anna’s memories will forever be embedded in the hearts of her three sons, Eric Demond Collins (Tarvia) of Port Arthur, TX; Derrick White and Aaron White, both of Charenton; her two brothers, Roosevelt White of Port Arthur, TX; and Chris White of Jeanerette; seven grandchildren, Malaysha Linden, Rahquavian Glover, Raequan Collins, Raeshaun Collins, Erin Desselles, Bri’anni Shaw and Ashton Page; her children’s father, Alex Collins; two sisters-in-law, Eula Marie White and Shirley White, both of Franklin; one brother-in-law, Leonard Fusilier of Lake Charles; and nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Sr. and Alma White; four brothers, James White Jr., Frank White, Charles White and Earl White; and her three sisters, Elmer White Carter, Pearlie Mae White Fusilier and Mary White Henderson; and brothers-in-law, Burney Carter Sr. and Wallace Henderson.
