CHERYL FULMER

November 21, 1955 — April 13, 2016
Cheryl Fulmer, 60, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Cheryl was born on Nov. 21, 1955, in Crossett, Arkansas, the daughter of Robert Wess Fulmer Sr. and Barbara Hearod Fulmer.
Cheryl could often times be found outside soaking up the sun by the pool or tending to her plants. She loved spending time with her family, especially around the holidays. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday as she always cooked up a feast for her family. She loved her two dogs, Bailey and Macy, as they were her world. Cheryl was a loving mother and friend to all. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone out who needed it.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Letitia Boudreaux and fiancé, Kerry Ventress, of Morgan City, and Chassidy Bailey and husband, Laurie, of Stephensville; one son, Allen Slade Jr. and wife, Rachel, of Bossier City; 14 grandchildren, Chelsey Dawn Bonds, Carley Rene Gros, Whitney Marie Slade, Kali Nicole Slade, Brad Lee Slade, Marcus Allen Slade, Daylen Slade, Leland Slade, Caden Slade, Savannah Fulmer, Alexis Billis, Levi Green, Cody Green and Kyle Green; and five great-grandchildren. Cheryl is also survived by one brother, Robert Wess Fulmer Jr.; four sister, Darlene Smith, Lorry Knox, Gwendolyn Kay Garcia and Rebecca Lynn Freeland; best friend, Franklin Cochran; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Wess Fulmer Sr. and Barbara Hearod Fulmer; two daughters, Theresa Fulmer and Tia Lisa Slade; one granddaughter, Courtney Lynn Gros; and one nephew, Stewart Shiloh Fulmer.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home with a visitation being held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Following the funeral services, Cheryl will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
