DAISY DREXLER BROUSSARD

Daisy Drexler Broussard, 98, a resident of Four Corners and native of Glencoe, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA at 9:22 a.m.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, March 19, at the St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in Four Corners, from 9 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Father Dismas Mauk, SVD, will serve as the Celebrant. Entombment will follow the funeral mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Mausoleum in Baldwin.
Memories of Daisy will forever remain in the hearts of her two sons, Alfred Broussard Jr. and wife, Bernice of Baldwin; and Dwan Broussard and wife, Mary Yvette, of Grand Marais, LA; and one daughter, Patricia B. Collins and husband, Clifford of Jeanerette; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Broussard Sr.; her parents, Oscar and Rosa Lee Drexler; three brothers, Oscar “Jubby” Drexler Jr., Rivers Drexler and Irving “Buster” Drexler; and two sisters, Rosa Mae Francis and Anna Metz.
