DEALYNN ELIZABETH CLARK PETKUS

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson for DeaLynn Elizabeth Clark Petkus, 68, a 36-year resident of Patterson who passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at her home. The Rev. Herb Bennerfield will conduct the service.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday at Ibert’s from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
DeaLynn was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on June 24, 1947, to the late Chester Clark and the late Geraldine Clark.
She previously worked for Abbot Laboratories for many years, and then went on to work for the Patterson Health Care Center.
DeaLynn was a lifelong member of the American Legion Post 242 Women’s Auxiliary in Patterson. Some of her hobbies included cooking and reading. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Donald Eugene Petkus of Patterson; one son, Jeremy Michael Petkus of Austin, Texas; and two grandchildren, Colin Petkus of Broussard and Damian Hobbs of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant children.
