DELORES ‘DELO’ COOPER-MILLER

Delores “Delo” Cooper-Miller, age 76, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, La. and native of Gibson, La. passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 at the Morgan City Health Care Center at 5:30 PM.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Morgan City, La., with Pastor Larry Frank, presiding. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Memories of “Delo”, as she was called by many, will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts of her two sons, John Glen Cooper, Sr. of Morgan City, La. and Dalton Ray Cooper of Patterson, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Marc (Deborah Cooper) Stevens of Patterson, La. and Mrs. Ricky (Robin Cooper) Moore of Morgan City, La.; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, one son, her parents, three sisters, and four brothers.
