EMILE WASHINGTON JR.

Emile Washington Jr., 75, a resident of Morgan City and native of Waterproof, La., passed away on July 24, 2016 at 1:38 a.m. at the Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, La.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 at the Ephesian Baptist Church, 523 Bowman St. in Morgan City from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will on Saturday Aug. 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Ephesian Baptist Church with Rev. Ezekiel Simmons, Officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Memories of Emile will forever remain in the hearts of his companion, Shelia Gray Pool of Morgan City, La; three sons, Michael Washington of Calif., Kevin Morris of Las Vegas, Nevada and Charles Pool of Arlington, Texas; two daughter, Lula Lee of Waterproof, La. and Shelia Mouton of Morgan City; one brother, Wash Henry of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Rosie W. Ellis and Mrs. George (Ceola) Washington both of New Orleans; and Mrs. Leon (Leola) Washington of Atlanta, Geogia and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives, a sister-in-law and friends.
Emile was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one brother-in-law.
