ESTHER RICHARDSON

Esther Richardson, 73, a native of Calumet and resident of Patterson, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at her residence.
Visitation will be Saturday from 8 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson. Burial will follow in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson.
She is survived by four sons, Curtis Richardson of New Iberia, Harold Richardson of Phoenix, Troy Richardson of Mississippi and Anthony Richardson of Lafayette; two daughters, Sharquana Escort of Morgan City and Stephanie Richardson of Patterson; three brothers, James Richardson Jr., Michael Richardson and Darryl Richardson, all of Texas; four sisters, Brenda Bell, Sheila Richardson, Vanessa Bryant and Natalie Richardson, all of Texas; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a brother.
