FLORA MAE LACOSTE LANDRY

Flora Mae LaCoste Landry, 85, a resident of Patterson, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Patterson Health Care.
She was born on Jan. 14, 1931, in Berwick, the daughter of Monroe LaCoste and Annie Elizabeth Miller LaCoste.
Flora was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She had a passion for food, whether it be at a restaurant or cooking at home, where she made her famous cabbage rolls. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, “Wheel of Fortune,” and The Steve Harvey Show.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons, Ronnie J. Landry and wife, Brenda, of Bayou Vista, and Gary W. Landry of Patterson; one daughter, Darlene Landry of Patterson; one sister, Josie Folse of Columbia, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and close companion, Joe DeMarco.
Flora is preceded in death by her parents, Monroe LaCoste and Annie Elizabeth Miller LaCoste; brothers, Ira LaCoste, Jerry LaCoste, Manny LaCoste and Charles LaCoste; and sisters, Rita Yokum, Mary Driskill, Juanita Oncale and Margie Ratcliff.
Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and resumes at the funeral home Wednesday, May 4, 2016, from 8 a.m. until service time. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Flora will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.
