IZOLA ADELE KEARNEY COOPER

Izola Adele Kearney Cooper, 95, a resident of Franklin and native of Franklinton, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 4 p.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Cooper was a retired educator and member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Visitation will be observed on Wednesday, March 30, from 4 p.m. until funeral services at 7 p.m., at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Franklin. The Rev. Ronald Southall will officiate and the Dr. Jawanza K. Colvin will serve as the Eulogist. Mrs. Cooper will be laid to rest in the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA with her husband, the late William Mural Cooper, United States Navy.
Memories of Izola will forever remain in the hearts of her daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Rose Susan E. Dorsey) Ofili of Franklin; two sisters-in-law, two nieces; five nephews; a god child; and a host of other relatives and friends.
lzola was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
