JARROD MICHAEL BOWERS

Jarrod Michael Bowers, 31, a resident and native of Franklin, passed away at 8:21 a.m., at the Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., at the Macedonia Baptist Church 145 Prevost Road in Baldwin (Ashton Area). A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 a.m. Jarrod’s uncle, the Rev. Rufus Parker Jr., will serve as the Eulogist. A motor bike procession/send off will take Jarrod to his final earthly resting place in the Franklin Cemetery, where Committal and Burial Services will take place.
Memories of Jarrod will forever remain in the hearts of his mother, Bernadette Parker-Lockett and her husband, Michael of Houston, TX; his father, James P. Bowers Jr. and his wife, Christina, of Franklin; two brothers, James P. Bowers Ill and Michael Lockett Jr., all of Houston, TX; a sister, Jashayla Bowers of Franklin; nine aunts; five uncles; and a host of cousins and other relatives, high school classmates and dear friends.
Jarrod was preceded in death by both his paternal grandparents, and his maternal grandparents.
