JOAN FAYE SCHEXNAYDER

Joan Faye Schexnayder, 74, a resident and native of Patterson, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2:53 a.m., at the Patterson Health Care Center.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, February 20, at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, from 9 a.m. until funeral services beginning at 11 a.m., with Pastor Patrick Jones Sr. officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson.
Mrs. Schexnayder was an Educator in the St. Mary Parish School System.
Memories of Joan Faye will forever remain in the hearts of her loving husband of 52 years, Randolph Schexnayder Jr. of Patterson; three sons, David Paul Schexnayder of Franklin; Gerald Schexnayder and Robert John Schexnayder (Michelle) both of Patterson; two sisters, Emily Augman of Alexandria, and Doris L. Gant of Patterson; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and the many students she helped to educate.
