JUDY DENICE PRICE-BANKS
Judy Denice Price-Banks passed away on April 3, 2015 in Atlanta, GA. She was born July 25, 1956 in Franklin, the daughter of Emma Dell Foster and Jesse Price. Judy obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southwest Louisiana in 1979. She spent her career in education, as a speech therapist.
She is survived by her mother, Emma Dell Foster of Franklin; daughter, Damona Barnes of Baton Rouge (Kenneth); aunt, Phillipeane Skylar (Avie) of Houston, TX; one brother, Rodney B. Foster (Chantel) of New Iberia; sister, Charlesette Foster-Arceneaux (Kenneth) of Jonesboro, GA; stepbrother, Wayne Foster (Corinne) of Franklin; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Price Jr.; and stepfather, Charles Foster Jr.; grandfather, Robert Wiley Sr.; grandmother, Alice Wiley; grandfather, Jesse Price Sr. and grandmother, Sara Price; stepbrother, Charles Foster III; stepsister, Gail Moore; uncles, Robert Wiley Jr., Walter Lee Wiley, Jesse Wiley, Jimmy Lee Wiley, Ray Wiley and Oscar Wiley; and Aunt Elle Mae Wiley Hawkins.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, the Gamma Eta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday April 12 at New Hope Baptist Church, 556 Greenwell Springs Rd., in Baton Rouge, with services following at 7 p.m. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at Heavenly Gates Mausoleum Complex in Baton Rouge.
