KRISTI GUILLOT BOREL

Kristi Guillot Borel, 36, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016.
She was born on Jan. 13, 1980, in Morgan City, the daughter of Lloyd Guillot and Karen Sellers Guillot.
Kristi was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and being on the boat. She also had an affinity for animals, especially “Iggy” the iguana.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Miles Borel of Bayou Vista; her parents, Lloyd and Karen Guillot of Bayou Vista; two sons, Tre’ Borel of Morgan City and Ty Borel of Bayou Vista; two daughters, Keallie Borel of New Iberia and Milynn Borel of Bayou Vista; a brother, Kevin Guillot and his wife, Erin, of Baton Rouge; an aunt, Bonnie McManus; her uncles, Shelby Guillot, Galen Guillot and Kenneth Sellers; maternal grandmother, Alice “Big MeMe” Sellers; paternal grandparents, Dudley and Lydia Michel; nephews, Evan and Tyler; nieces, Cassie, Brynn, Aria and Taylynn; mother-in-law, Melba Borel; a brother-in-law, Michael Borel; a sister-in-law, Marla Domangue; and all of her cousins.
Kristi is preceded in death by her brother, Kelin Guillot; grandfather, Claude “Tobe” Sellers; uncles, Brady Guidry and Ted McManus; aunt, Alice “Nanny” Guarisco; father-in-law, Michael Borel; and grandmother-in-law, Gertrude B. Borel.
Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Kristi will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
