MARY ALICE BOURDA-COLAR

Mary Alice Bourda-Colar, 81 a resident of Jeanerette, and native of St. Martinville, LA passed away on Thursday, Feb 4, 2016 at 2:45 a.m., at her residence.
Visitation will be observed from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, with a rosary being recited at 10 a.m., at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church 11200 Old Jeanerette Rd, in Jeanerette, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Dismas Mauk, SVD serving as the Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Jeanerette.
Memories of Mary will forever remain in the hearts of her four loving daughters, Glenda C. Lewis and Judith C. Hurst, both of Jeanerette, Mrs. Herman (Rosalind C.) Diggs of St. Martinville, and Robin C. Gibson of Beaumont, TX; a sister-in-law; a son, James Chretien Jr. of Beaumont, TX; 13 grandchildren 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, a daughter, a son-in-law, two brothers and two sisters.
