MORRIS LEE GIVENS

Morris Lee Givens, 68, a resident and native of Gibson, LA, and former resident of Patterson, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, at 10 a.m., at his residence.
Visitation will be observed Saturday, May 7 at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Triumph Baptist Church Cemetery in Gibson.
Memories of Morris Lee will forever remain in the hearts of his four sons, Andrew Bogen of Gibson and Tyrone Givens of Los Angeles, CA, Maurice Givens of Patterson and Eric Givens of Lafayette; four daughters, Rhonda Givens of Los Angeles, Mrs. Keith (Tyane Givens)-Gray Sr.) and Erica Givens, both of Lafayette and Erina Givens of Houma; one brother, David Givens (Emmy) of Gibson; 18 grandchildren; two step children, Mrs. Keith (Dawn Skinner)-Paul Sr. of Patterson; and Mrs. Ruben (Tonie) Sims of Lafayette; his former spouse, Diane Givens of Patterson; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his two grandchildren, his parents, five brothers, four sisters, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.
