MRS. HELEN DAVIS MCDANIEL

Mrs. Helen Davis McDaniel, 81, a resident of Dallas, TX and native of Franklin, died Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at 1:50 p.m., at Heritage Oak home in Dallas.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at St. Stephen Baptist Church in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. D. John officiating. Entombment will follow in the Franklin Mausoleum.
Survivors include five sons, Min. Frederick (Rose) McDaniel of Jeanerette, Benjamin McDaniel, Ronald McDaniel and Donald (Tadrea) McDaniel, all of Franklin; and Gregory McDaniel of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Carolyn McDaniel Williams of Dallas, TX; four brothers, Isaiah (Matilda) Davis of Houston, TX, Dr. Albert (Mary) Davis and Bishop Melvin (Clarissa) David, both of Charlotte, NC, and Alvin Davis of Miami, FL; four sisters, Mary Davis Francis, Irma Davis Mitchell, Juanita Davis Mitchell, all of Franklin, and Estelle Davis Howell of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
