MRS. IRMA DAVIS MITCHELL

Mrs. Irma Davis Mitchell, 73, a resident and native of Franklin, died March 17, 2016, at 4:25 a.m., at Iberia Medical Center following a short illness.
Visitations will be held Thursday, March 24, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Baptist Church in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Thursday, at 11 a.m., at the church, with the Rev. Ronald C. Young officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include four brothers, Isiah (Matilda) Davis of Houston, TX; Alvin Davis of Miami, FL; Dr. Albert (Mary) Davis and Elder Melvin (Clarissa) Davis, both of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Mary Francis and Juanita Davis Mitchell, both of Franklin, and Estelle Davis Howell of Charlotte, NC.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
