PAUL JOSEPH GIROIR

August 29, 1941 -February 6, 2016
Paul Joseph Giroir, 74, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at his home.
Paul was born Aug. 29, 1941, in Berwick, the son of Eldred and Vivian Boudreaux Giroir.
Paul was an avid fan of the WWE and never missed an opportunity to watch it on TV. Paul enjoyed helping people and had a gift for gab; he used these two things to bring smiles to people’s faces at Tiger Island Hardware.
Of all the things that Paul did in his life, the thing that he loved the most was spending time with his family, but he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Shirley Weber Giroir of Morgan City; three children, Gwen Luc and husband, Kerry, of Morgan City, Lori Russo and husband, Jeffery, of Berwick, and Brian Giroir and wife, Janea, of Berwick; seven grandchildren, Beau Russo, Brittany Breaux, Maggie Martin, Seth Giroir, Kerrilyn Luc, Lindsie Giroir, and Katie Rose Luc; and one sister, Ann Castalano of Morgan City.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Eldred Giroir and Vivian Boudreaux Giroir.
Private family services will be held.
