SHIRLEY MILSTEAD GUIDRY

Shirley Milstead Guidry, 57, a native of Lake Charles and a lifelong resident of Bayou Vista, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at her residence.
Shirley leaves behind her beloved dog, Taco, whom she loved very dearly.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Tabitha Dardeau Travis of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Saragrace Travis and Clay Travis, both of Tennessee; four sisters, Rebecca Albarado, and Dianne Goessl and husband, William, both of Morgan City, Geraldine Hebert and husband, Norman, of Catahoula, and Felecia Stanford of Darnell; two brothers, Charles Milstead and wife, Greer, of Tennessee, and Houston Cooley Jr. and partner, Sina Rink, of Morgan City; one aunt, Jeannie Brossette of Sulphur; and numerous other family members and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe Milstead and Doretha Linn; one niece, Dodie Burnett; one nephew, Perel Legendre Jr.; one brother-in-law, Adam Albarado Sr.; and one aunt, Mary Charmine.
Services were entrusted to Twin City Funeral Home of Morgan City.
