STEVEN M. BERGERON

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette for Steven M. Bergeron, 51, who died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at his residence in Lafayette.
Entombment will be in Morgan City Cemetery.
Rev. Steve LeBlanc, Pastor of St. Pius X Catholic Church, will be the celebrant of the funeral mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Maria A. Bergeron of Lafayette; one daughter, Jennifer Bergeron of Lafayette; one son, Garrett Bergeron of Lafayette; his father, Patrick Bergeron of Morgan City; his mother- and father-in-law, Judith and L.B. Pinho of Morgan City; two sisters, Rosalind Bergeron Cudrigh and Helen Bergeron; and two brothers, Bryan and Nathan Bergeron.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Vidos Bergeron.
A resident of Lafayette, Steven was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him. He was a lieutenant with the City of Lafayette Police Department.
The family requests that visitation be observed at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 201 E Bayou Pkwy, Lafayette, LA 70508 Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m..
